My first letter to my home page. Its almost Christmas now and I'm surprised that there is so much Christmas decorations. There's Christmas decorations everywhere. Almost every house have some kind of lights. But allot of houses, much more that in Sweden, are decorated from ground to roof. Trees and bushes, green, red, yellow, blinking and flashing. And deer's or other animals made of lights standing in the garden, some of them are even moving. It's really beautiful.

According to YFU, my exchange student program, so is Christmas the worst period. When I will be most homesick and miss my family and friends. It's not Christmas yet but so far I still don't fell very homesick but I suppose I should be happy for that. There is some things that I miss very much right now though. One thing that I feel I could do anything for right now is a Swedish "Leverpastej macka". I didn't find any direct translated word for it but I guess it would be liverpate' sandwich in English. I don't thing they have that here. At least I haven't seen it anywhere. Another thing that I know they don't have here, so therefore no word for it in English, is filmjolk. A Swedish breakfast with liverpate' sandwich and "filmjolk" with serials would be really nice right now.
